This annual event is named after the late Jack Barker who chaired this event for the WV Strawberry Festival for many years. The "main" race starts at Wood Street Park, goes to Tennerton Bridge, then returns to Wood Street Park.

The "Sprint" Race starts at Wood Street Park, goes to the Poe Bridge, then returns. This race is geared toward youth, but is open to anyone who wants to participate.

Awards will be given (in each class) - 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

Location: Wood Street 

Requirements: Coast Guard approved Life Jackets are required in the boats during the race. Anyone 16 years old or younger MUST WEAR A LIFE JACKET!
